I don't believe I have ever posted a build here, thought I might give it a try. This is a new model for me, it's going to my son. The trim on the guitar is inspired by some of the outstanding work of Kevin Ryan, including the zipflex purfling. It has Pau Ferro B&S's Lutz top, Indian rosewood binding, ebony headplate and fingerboard, with an African blackwood bridge. The finish is KTM SV over z-poxy The Bracing is Lutz with carbon fiber. It plays quite well and has a loud, balanced sound. |

Lovely guitar Joe! Would you mind telling me how you did the headstock purfling? It looks like it's inlayed. Thanks, Danny |

Danny, yes, it is inlayed. I just use the dremel with the Stew Mac plate and guide and just carefully go around the headstock. Actually the fingerboard is done the same way. Kind of gives a bound look. |
